DECREE 2009

(DECREE NO. 55 OF 2009)

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as the President and Commander in Chief of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces by virtue of the Executive Authority Decree 2009, I hereby make the following Decree:

Short title and commencement

1. This Decree may be cited as the Shop (Regulation of Hours and Employment) (Amendment) Decree 2009 and shall come into force on the 23rd day of December 2009.

Section 10 amended

2. Section 10 of the Shop (Regulation of Hours and Employment) Act [Cap 100] is amended: —

(a) in sub-section (2) by deleting "6 o’clock in the afternoon" and substituting "9 o’clock in the evening";

(b) in sub-section (3) by deleting "6 o’clock in the afternoon" and substituting "9 o’clock in the evening"; and

(c) by deleting sub-section (6).
