Tobacco Control (Amendment) Decree 2012

GOVERNMENT OF FIJI

TOBACCO CONTROL (AMENDMENT) DECREE 2012
(DECREE NO. 72 OF 2012)

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as the President of the Republic of Fiji and the Commander in Chief of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces by virtue of the Executive Authority of Fiji Decree 2009, I hereby make the following Decree—

TO AMEND THE TOBACCO CONTROL DECREE 2010

Short title and commencement

1.—(1) This Decree may be cited as the Tobacco Control (Amendment) Decree 2012and shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

Amendment of references to "Minister"

2. The Tobacco Control Decree 2010 is amended by deleting the word "Minister" and substituting "Permanent Secretary" in the following sections—

(a) section 23 (2);

(b) section 24 (1);

(c) sections 25 (2) and (4); and

(d) sections 26 (2) and (3).
