Daylight Savings Order 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 3 of the Daylight Savings Act 1998, I make this Order -

Citation

1. This Order maybe cited as the Daylight Savings Order 2009.

Daylight savings period

2. I declare the consecutive days between the 29th of November, 2009 until 25th of April, 2010 inclusive as the daylight savings period.

Daylight saving time

3. Subject to section 5 of the Act, the time for general purposes throughout the Fiji Islands during the daylight saving period is 1 hour in advance of the standard time commencing at 2.00am on Sunday 29th of November 2009 and ending at 3.00am on Sunday the 25th of April, 2010.
