EMERGENCY DECREE 2000

(NO. 4 OF 2000)

CURFEW ORDER NO. 2 OF 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 7 of the Emergency Decree No. 4 of 2000, I make this Order.

Citation

1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Curfew Order No. 2 of 2000 and comes into force at 8.00 pm on Thursday, 2nd November 2000 and expires at 6.00 am on Saturday, 4th November 2000.

(2) In this Order, 'essential services' means the essential services prescribed under the Trade Disputes Act (Cap. 97).

Prohibition of movement

2. Without Prejudice to the Curfew Order gazetted as Gazette Notice No. 18 of 2nd June 2000, this Order prohibits every person within Korovou, Nausori, Suva, Lami up to the Togolevu Naval Base except the designated essential services from remaining out of doors from 8.00 pm on Thursday 2nd November 2000 to 6.00 am on Saturday 4th November 2000.
