EMERGENCY DECREE 2000

EMERGENCY (MOVEMENT OF PERSONS) ORDER 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 6 of the Emergency Decree 2000, I hereby make this Order -

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency (Movement of Persons) Order 2000.

Prohibition to enter area

2.-(1) No person shall enter or exit the area specified in the Schedule unless with a written permit issued by the Commissioner of Police or Officer Commanding.

(2) A person who contravenes subparagraph (1) is liable on conviction to the penalties specified in section 25 of the Decree.

SCHEDULE
(Paragraph 2(I))

The islands of Nukulau and Makuluva including the body of waters within the co-ordinates 18 degrees 11.6 minutes south, 178 degrees 30 minutes east; 18 degrees 11.6 minutes south, 178 degrees 32.6 minutes east; 18 degrees 9.7 minutes south 178 degrees 30 minutes east; and 18 degrees 9.7 minutes south, 178 degrees 32.6 minutes east.
