LEGAL NOTICE NO. 9

CENSUS ORDINANCE
(Cap 8)

CENSUS ORDER 1990

Subject to section 99 of the Constitution in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 2 of the Census Ordinance I hereby make the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Census Order 1990.

Taking of census and appointment of Commissioner

2. Census shall be taken of the inhabitants of Kiribati between 6th and 21st of November 1990, and for the purpose of the said census IETE ROUATU is appointed Census Commissioner.

Time in which census is taken

3. The time in relation to which the particulars required by the census directed by this Order shall be mid-night on the 6th day of November 1990.
