CHAPTER 5 - RESERVED

NITIJELA MEMBERS (PENSIONS)

The Nitijela Members (Pensions) Act 1986, previously codified here as 3 MIRC 5, was repealed by P.L. 1996-13 s 2 on 13 March 1996.

Section 2 provided that:

"The Nitijela Members Pension Act (1986), 3 MIRC, Chapter 5, is hereby repealed in its entirety and all contributions to the fund by Members and former Members who have not yet received their pension, shall be reimbursed in one lump sum payment. The repeal of the Nitijela Members Pension Act shall not occur until such time as the contributions have been reimbursed and the eligibility requirements met."
