Continuing Budget Act FY 2005, RPPL 7-12 2005

AN ACT

To amend 40 PNC Section 1501(e) to fix the hours for licensed premises of any class or classes to be open for business, and to authorize Continuing Budget Authority for the first month of Budget Year 2006; and for other related purposes.

THE PEOPLE OF PALAU REPRESENTED IN THE OLBIIL ERA KELULAU DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Amendment. 40 PNC Section 1501 (e) Other, General is amended to read as follows:

"(e) Other, General $50.00

(1) Food establishments, and all other licensed businesses may be open twenty- four (24) hours per day. While food establishments and all other licensed business may be open twenty-four (24) hours per day, the hours of sale for alcoholic beverages within such food establishments and other licensed businesses shall continue to be controlled by 11 PNC 1015(e) as amended by Republic of Palau Public Law 6-41."

Section 2. Continuing Budget Authority. Pursuant to 40 PNC '327 as amended by Republic of Palau Public Law No. 6-11, there is hereby authorized and enacted a Continuing Budget Authority for the first month of Fiscal Year 2006. The funding levels authorized for all regular budget activities are the same as those contained in the Fiscal Year 2005 Budget. This Continuing Budget Authority shall expire on October 31, 2005.

Section 3. Effective date. This Act shall take effect upon its approval by the President of the Republic of Palau, or upon its becoming law without such approval.
