AN ACT

To amend RPPL No. 5-33, the ACancer Registry Act,@ to expand the definition of ACancer@ to include Abenign brain tumor.@

THE PEOPLE OF PALAU REPRESENTED IN THE OLBIIL ERA KELULAU DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Amendment. Section 2(a) of RPPL No. 5-33 is hereby amended to read as follows:

A(a) >Cancer= means all malignant neoplasms, regardless of the tissue of origin, including malignant lymphoma diseases and all benign brain tumors.@

Section 2. Effective date. This Act shall take effect upon its approval by the President of the Republic of Palau, or upon its becoming law without such approval.
