AN ACT

To amend 13 PNC § 1102 in order to include certain locations in Peleliu and Angaur States as official ports of entry for the Republic of Palau.

Section 1. Legislative Findings.  The Olbiil Era Kelulau finds that the "Official Ports of Entry" into the Republic of Palau should include certain locations within the States of Peleliu and Angaur.  Designation of locations within these States as ports of entry will allow for the promotion of private and public funding for the specified States, with the assistance of the State and/or National Government, in establishing said ports of entry.

Section 2. Amendment. 13 PNC § 1102 is amended as follows:

"§ 1102. Official ports of entry.

The official ports of entry in the Republic shall be:

(a) Malakal Harbor;

(b) Ngardmau Dock, within the Ngardmau Free Trade Zone;

(c) Airai Airport;

(d) Peleliu Airport; and

(e) Angaur Airport;"

Section 3. Effective date.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval by the President of the Republic of Palau or upon its becoming law without such approval, except as otherwise provided by law.
