BIRTHS, DEATHS AND MARRIAGES (AMENDMENT) ACT 2002

AN ACT
TO AMEND THE BIRTHS, DEATHS AND MARRIAGES ACT

[15th of August 2002.]

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Births, Deaths and Marriages (Amendment) Act 2002.

(2) The Births, Deaths and Marriages Act (Cap. 42), as amended, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

2. Schedule 1 of the Births, Deaths and Marriages Act (Cap. 42) is amended by repealing the Fees prescribed therein and substituted by the following:

"FEES
(Section 20)

Affidavit 6.00

Licence 7.50

Search 6.00

Certified copy of entry in register 4.00"

Passed by the Legislative Assembly this 15th day of August, 2002.
