HARBOURS (AMENDMENT NO 1) ACT 1994

AN ACT
TO AMEND THE HARBOURS ACT

[1st June, 1994.]

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Harbours (Amendment No. 1) Act 1994.

(2) The Harbours Act (Cap. 137), as amended, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

(3) This Act shall come into effect on 1st July 1994.

2. Section 3 of the Principal Act is deleted and substituted by the following:

"3. The Prime Minister with the consent of Cabinet may appoint such officers, in addition to the Secretary for Marine and Ports, that may be required for carrying the provisions of this Act into effect".

Passed by the Legislative Assembly this 1st day of June, 1994.

2. 'Oku tamate 'i 'a e Kupu 3 'o e Tefito 'i Lao kae fetongi 'aki 'eni:
