POUNDS AND ANIMALS (AMENDMENT) ACT 1989

AN ACT TO AMEND THE POUNDS AND ANIMALS ACT

I assent,

BE IT ENACTED by the King and the Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Pounds and Animals (Amendment) Act 1989.

(2) The Pounds and Animals Act (Cap. 72), as amended, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

2. Section 25(1)(b) of the Principal Act is amended by deleting the words "nine and ten in the forenoon" and inserting the words "eight in the forenoon and five in the afternoon" in their stead.

Passed in the Legislative Assembly this 14th day of September, 1989.
