AN ACT TO AMEND THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 2002

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1 Short Title and Interpretation

(1) This Act may be cited as the Public Service (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 2016.

(2) In this Act, the Public Service Act 2002, as amended, shall be referred to as the Principal Act.

2 Schedule I - Part 1 amended

Part 1 of Schedule I of the Principal Act is amended –

(a) in paragraph 2 by deleting the word "and Trade"; and

(b) by deleting paragraph 8 and replacing it with the following –

"(8) Ministry of Commerce, Consumer, Trade, Innovation and Labour;".
