AN ACT TO AMEND THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 2002

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. Short title and Interpretation

(1) This Act may be cited as the Public Service (Amendment) Act 2020.

(2) In this Act, the Public Service Act 2002, as amended, shall be referred to as the "Principal Act".

2. Schedule II amended

Schedule II of the Principal Act is amended by -

(a) removing the "." after paragraph 23 and replacing it with the word "and"; and
(b) inserting the following new paragraph 24 –

• "24 Secretary of Foreign Affairs. ".
