AN ACT TO AMEND THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1 Short Title

(1) This Act may be cited as the Public Service (Amendment) Act 2014.

(2) In this Act, the Public Service Act 2002 as amended, shall be referred to as the Principal Act.

2 Schedule amended

Part 1 of Schedule I of the Principal Act is amended –

(a) by repealing paragraph 4 and replacing it with –

"4 Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources;"; and

(b) by repealing paragraphs 12-13 and replacing them with the following –

"12 Ministry of Revenue and Customs;

13 Bureau of Statistics;

14 Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Forests and Fisheries; and

15 Ministry of Environment, Energy, Climate Change, Disaster Management, Meteorology, Information and Communications.".
