ORDER IN COUNCIL

CUSTOMS AND EXCISE ACT

[11th March 1998]

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 35 (2) of the Customs and Excise Act (Cap. 67), as amended, the King in Council ORDERS that Part 1 of Schedule II of the Customs and Excise Act is amended by inserting after clause 8 of the List of Prohibited Imports the following new clause 8A:

"8A.

Motor vehicles, motor cycles, and motor scooters (but does not include antique motor vehicles) more than ten years of age as described on the manufacturer's trade plate at the date of import entry. All such vehicles imported without Original manufacturer's trade plate attached are prohibited from entry."
