INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES (AMENDMENT) ACT 2010

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR MINOR AMENDMENT TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES ACT TO FACILITATE THE REGISTRATION OF INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES

Commencement [9th September, 2010]

1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the International Companies (Amendment) Act 2010.

2 Commencement
This Act shall commence on the date of publication by exhibition.

3 Amendment to the International Companies Act
The International Companies Act is amended as follows —

(1) In section 63(1) of the Act, replace the number "61 with "62".

(2) In section 66(1) of the Act, replace the number "64" with "65".

(3) In section 66(3) of the Act, replace the number "64" with "65".

(4) In section 11(1) of the Act —

(a) After the word "Limited" insert the words "Incorporated" or "Corporation",".

(b) After the word "Ltd" insert the words "Inc" or "Corp".
