IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Post Office Act, the Minister hereby makes the following regulations –

These Regulations may be cited as the Post Office (Amendment) Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on the 10th day of March, 1995.

Schedule 1 to the Post Office Regulations is amended by repealing it and substituting the following schedule:

(D)		Postal Zones
		For the purpose of calculating postal charges, countries are grouped into zones which are defined approximately as follows and are set out more precisely in the Post Office Guide held by post masters. Zone 1: Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru Zone 2: The Pacific including Australia and New Zealand, but excluding the other "Pacific Basin" countries, the Philippines, Japan, etc. Zone 3: The rest of the world.
