CUSTOMS (PENALTY NOTICE) REGULATION
Order 32 of 2003
1. Interpretation
In this Regulation, “Act” means the Customs Act [Cap. 257].
2. Prescribed amounts for penalty notices
For the purpose of section 102(2) of the Act, the prescribed amount in respect of an offence committed under a section of the Act
listed in Column 2 of the Table is:
(a) the amount set out in Column 3 of that Table for a first offence under such section; and
(b) the amount set out in Column 4 of that Table for a second or subsequent offence under such section.

3. Form of penalty notice
For the purposes of section 102 of the Act, a penalty notice is to be in the form set out in the Schedule.

The Customs officer whose name, rank and signature appears at the bottom of the following page, has reason to believe you have committed an offence under the provision/s of the Customs Act [Cap. 257] set out below in Column 1.
You can elect to pay the penalty set out below in Column 2 or Column 3 (whichever applies) or have the alleged offence/s decided by a court.
