Financial Institutions (Fees) Regulations

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS (FEES) REGULATIONS

Order 9 of 2001

To prescribe the fee payable by an applicant for a licence to carry on banking business in Vanuatu, and the annual fee payable by a licensee under the Financial Institutions Act [Cap. 254].

1. Definition
In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears, “Act” means the Financial Institutions Act [Cap. 254].

2. Prescribed fees under section 11(1)(c)
For the purposes of section 11(1)(c) of the Act, the prescribed fee is US$ 10,000.00.

3. Prescribed fees under section 16(1)
For the purposes of section 16(1) of the Act, the prescribed fee is US$ 10,000.00.
