LABOUR (WORK PERMITS) (EXEMPTION)
(RESERVE BANK)
Order 26 of 1990
An Order to exempt certain non-citizens employed by or seconded to the Reserve Bank from work permit requirements.
1. Interpretation
In this Order “Reserve Bank” means the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu established by the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu Act [Cap. 125].
2. Exemption
Any non-citizens employed by, seconded to or in the service of the Reserve Bank shall be exempted from the requirements of work permits
imposed by the Labour (Work Permits) Act [Cap. 187].
3. Reserve Bank to inform Commissioner of Labour
The Reserve Bank shall, for the purpose of section 2, inform the Commissioner of Labour, in writing, in good time of any such person
referred to in section 2 before that person arrives in Vanuatu.
