CUSTOMS (AMENDMENT) ACT
NO. 13 OF 2011

An Act to amend the Customs Act [CAP 257].
Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-

1 Amendment
The Customs Act [CAP 257] is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2 Commencement
This Act commences on 01 January 2012.

AMENDMENTS OF THE CUSTOMS ACT [CAP 257]
1 After subsection 29(1)

Insert

“(1A) A prohibition or restriction made under subsection (1) must not be inconsistent with the rules of the World Trade Organisation.”
