THE STAMP DUTIES (AMENDMENT) ACT NO. 26 OF 1988

An Act to amend the Stamp Duties Regulation Cap. 19.

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows:-

AMENDMENT OF THE SCHEDULE TO THE STAMP DUTIES REGULATION CAP. 19.

1. The Schedule to the Stamp Duties Regulation Cap. 19 is amended in the paragraph under the heading ‘GENERAL EXEMPTIONS FROM STAMP DUTY’, by the insertion after item (c) in subparagraph 2 of that paragraph of the following item:-

"(cc) The National Housing Corporation; and".

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.
