BANKRUPTCY, ENGLAND AND WALES
THE BANKRUPTCY (AMENDMENT NO. 3) RULES 1982

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 132 of the Bankruptcy Act 1914(a) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State for Trade, and after consulting the committee appointed under section 10 of the Insolvency Act 1976(b) hereby makes the following Rules:-
1. These Rules may be cited as the Bankruptcy (Amendment No. 3) Rules 1982 and shall come into operation on 18th November 1982.
2. The Bankruptcy Rules 1952(c) shall be amended by adding at the end of Rule 132 the following words:-
.
"but in their application to appeals from a county court to a Divisional Court of the High Court under section 108(2) of the Act they shall apply as if the expression "chief bankruptcy registrar" were substituted for the expression "registrar" wherever it so occurs and as if in Order 59 Rule 14(1) the expression "motion" were substituted for the expression "summons".
