PURSUANT to section 9 of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1978, I, MALIETOA TANUMAFILI II, Head of State, acting on the advice of Cabinet HEREBY MAKE the following Orders.

ORDER

1. Short title and commencement - (1) This Order may be cited as the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities (Declared International Organisations) Amendment Order 2006 and shall be read with and form part of the Principal Order.

(2) This Order shall come into force on the date it receives the signature of the Head of State.

(3) Notice of the commencement of these Orders shall be published in Samoan and English in the Savali and one newspaper circulating in Samoa.

2. Principal Order - In this Order, "Principal Order" means the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities (Declared International Organisations) Order 1998.

3. Amendment to Schedule 1 - Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended adding at the end:

"19. Pacific Islands Forum (PIF)"
