SPECIAL PRICE ORDER 2006 (No.4)

The Prices Board, under Section 56 of the Fair Trading Act 1998 and upon resolution made at its meeting dated 25 September 2006, make the following order:
1. Short title and commencement - (1) This Order may be cited as the Special Price Order 2006 (No.4).
(2) This order shall commence on 1 October 2006.
2. Maximum Prices for tobacco - The prices set out in Schedule 1 shall be the maximum prices to be applied for the sale of tobacco at wholesale and retail prices in Samoa.
3. Maximum prices for Beer - The prices set out in Schedule 2 shall be the maximum prices to be applied for the sale of Vailima Lager and Vailima Gold Beer in Samoa.
4. Maximum prices for corned beef and locally manufactured biscuits in Upolu - The prices set out in Part A of Schedule 3 shall be the maximum prices to be applied for the sale of corned beef and locally manufactured biscuits in 5lb and 10lb cartons in Upolu.
5. Maximum price for corned beef and locally manufactured biscuits in Savaii - The prices set out in Part B of Schedule 3 shall be the maximum prices to be applied for the sale of corned beef and locally manufactured biscuits in 5lb and 10lb cartons in Savaii.
6. Maximum price for liquefied petroleum gas in Upolu - The prices set out in Part A of Schedule 4 shall be the maximum prices to be applied for the sale in Upolu of liquefied petroleum gas.
7. Maximum price for liquefied petroleum gas in Savaii - The prices set out in Part B of Schedule 4 shall be the maximum prices to be applied for the sale in Savaii of liquefied petroleum gas.
8. Revocation - Any current Special Price Order made under the provisions of the Fair Trading Act 1998 with respect to the goods specified in the Schedules to this Order are revoked.
